Our next
public meeting will be held on Wednesday 30th July 2008 at
6.30pm
Shahjalal Ahmed who is Southern Operations Manager at Medical Imaging UK
which is the company that operates our Diabetes Retinopathy Screening
Service (DRSS) will be coming to give us a talk on retinopathy, the
screening service itself, making appointments, what they look for, what
happens next if they find a problem, and possible treatments.

Your Chair David Cahill will be giving a presentation on Diabetes, Ron Grant from Upbeat Heart Support Group will be giving a presentation on heart disease, and Chris Ali from the Public Health Team will be giving a presentation on healthy eating and exercise.

Some of the Lifestyle Roadshow Team will be visiting the Mosque. We
will have our diabetes awareness stand. Volunteers welcome.
